As a second part of the trilogy Votary, Gustavo Gomes developed with Spatial architect and visual artist Pavel Cherniak and immersive VR experience revolving the themes of devotion.
Based on the scanning of 20 churches in Russian and train stations in Germany, this performance installation consists of dancers performing ritualistic acts in open spaces as the audience can walk around them with iPads and their own phones to see the temple.
Votary - The second temple is also an app that can be downloaded by audience members, where they can see the temple anywhere as well to see the film Votary - Icon directed by Gomes and filmed by Haris Ajlurahi.
